THIS IS OUR REC CENTER! LET'S KEEP IT THAT WAY ON 10/14 at 6PM's CDD MEETING!

 As of 9/19, this is not the only perspective on the provisions/effects of Resolution 2014-13.  You need to judge for yourself which version is accurate.

1500 new users is what you could end up with if the CDD Board of Supervisors (BoS) has their way on 10/14.  They plan to roll over for our new "neighbors"  DR Horton, and GIVE THEM and the other businesses on CDD property 340 FULL FAMILY ANNUAL MEMBERSHIPS to distribute EACH YEAR AS THEY WISH.  Since these 340 passes are FAMILY passes, the total users could rise well above:
1500 ANNUAL MEMBERSHIPS FOR PEOPLE WHO DON'T LIVE IN JCP OR RIVER OAKS!
The "hearing" on this "proposal" (translation: sellout) of our memberships is the next BoS meeting 10/14 at 6PM.  View the proposal here:  it has the innocuous title of Resolution 2014-13.  Add the right column (maximum number of passes).  The total is 340.  340 FAMILY PASSES.  Now multiply that by the average family size, say 4.  That's over 1300 persons; maybe even 1600 for people who don't live here!
We need to spread the word that this shameful act will not stand.  You need to spread the word and to speak up against this theft of OUR facility. 
Organize your neighbors and friends!  This is worth your time!  We all lose forever if we lose the opportunity to shut this sellout down!  Add your comments here, but more importantly, take action - see the opportunities listed to the right.  Exercise your membership rights to protest this in any way you see fit.  None of these suggestions is illegal,  nor or we suggesting you do anything illegal.  We are only saying - don't limit yourself to these suggestions, if you have ideas of your own.
